Big Al
Big Al is one of club lands most colourful characters; his first steps into the wonderful world of DJing were in 1982. From his first gig all those years ago in his local church youth club, to today, where he has seen the world of DJing through all of its changes into what is now a super cool occupation with high stakes and high earnings to match.

Big Al has played more than a fifteen hundred gigs since he has entered the DJ scene, this has earned recognition and respect from all the premier league DJ's with play's at clubs which includes: Pacha (Buenos Aires), Peach (Camden Palace), Rock (Bristol), Mezzanine (Wolverhampton), Time Flies (Cardiff), Naughty But Nice (Hereford), Republica (Birmingham), Picasso (Costa Del Sol) and not forgetting his weekly residency at Escape (Swansea).

Al is a firm believer in the fact that a DJ's job is to entertain, as well as to educate a crowd and keep them dancing. His style of music is mainly trance, but ranges from a deep progressive groove to a full on frenzy. He is famed for his faultless mixing, programming and his awesome six hour sets. At the Welsh Dance Music Awards 2001, he was voted Best Progressive House DJ, an award he scooped again in 2002. He is truly becoming the Welsh legend that everyone is referring to him as.

It would completely fair to say that every person who has seen Al play, from any other club, magazine, P.A. company and clubber, have all been blown away by the effect he has on the dance floor. They've asked the same question ' why isn't he playing all over the world? '
