New monthly slot at the Thekla!
We are jumping up and down with excitement as from September
we take up our new monthly slot at the wicked Thekla club in Bristol's
harbour.
This is a major coup for us at a time when clubs are closing
left right and center and promoters are scrambling around for
places to host parties! Its fitting that we are returning to a boat
to make our new home, having begun life with a boat party!
The Flatspin sound will be pumping out below deck and we are
drafting in some of the biggest and best trance & techno
DJ's in the world alongside our local boys - so if your
into quality uplifting banging trance & techno, its right
back on your doorstep once again!
Lineups are still being arranged & if you would like to get
involved in helping us promote the nights, contact us!
Friday September 16th - Greg Downey + Ian Betts + Starlet aka Lizzie Curious
Greg Downey - remember the name. Greg is a DJ that
sets the standard for others to follow.
His mixing is seamless, his tune selection
flawless and with his productions consistently in the
boxes of Paul Van Dyk and John Askew it won't
be long till everyone knows the name (Simon Patterson aka Dogzilla, 2005)
Ian Betts - “The man is a fucking genius and already a living legend amongst the clubbers of London.
His set was one of the best I have seen anyone play for a long time - it’s been a long time
since I saw any DJ get a reaction like Ian did, every tune, when the break came, 1000 people
threw their arms in the air, turned to face the DJ booth and jumped, he had the crowd in the
palm of his hand and was loving every single second. Glorious, uplifting, energetic trance -
Ian is rapidly making a name for himself as London’s best trance DJ. If you get a chance, go
see him.” (Dom Farrell, Felix Magazine)
Friday October 14th - JFK + BigAl + Andy Storm
From block-rocking beats to Superclub dominating feats this DJ really has done the lot!!
The founder of Midlands Trance Institution “Passion”, JFK has risen through
the ranks over the past decade to command respect from every single corner of the globe.
Friday November 11th - Adam Sheridan + more TBC
"One of the UK's best trance DJs" (Pete Tong)
"I rate Adam Sheridan as a DJ, he's got a great future" (Paul Van Dyk)
In 2004, Adam Sheridan was voted at number 136 in DJ
Magazine's poll for the best DJs in the world.
The youngest ever DJ to record a BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix (Jan 04), which was
commended for its diversity and innovation
