Timbuk2, Bristol
After missing out on Andy Bagguley in July, following our unfortunate cancellation
of the trance sessions at Park Avenue the anticipation for November was too much.
We arranged a tie up with Andy and Genix's Midlands based
label Trance Revolution Recordings (TRR) (who's recent compositions have had us bouncing round clubland like
loons) to star alongside Flatspinners, Si Dollar &
Si Tizzard.
We enlisted local boys Filtered to come along and VJ, providing awesome digital visuals including rotating Flatspin logos... sweet!
Arch Two, hosted this month by local boys Vital, Bobby Funk & Intermission
delivered a breaks soundtrack to compliment the trance in Arch One perfectly.
Si Tizzard piloted the good ship Flatspin above the clouds through a cutting-edge blend of progressive and
uplifting trance, setting the stage for Si Dollar to fuel the emotion and the make our hair stand on end.
Genix, armed with his bumper box of new tunes and despite an injured hand played a building set laying the path for
Andy to destroy the dancefloor!
Andy Bagguley was awesome. Simple as that. With energy behind the decks rarly seen these days, he had the crowd jumping
around like loons within a couple of tracks, leaving us under no doubt as to why he is tipped for greatness in 2005. We all lost
ourselves in the music testified by sea of smiling faces.
Job done!
